This bursary Free Scholarship Applications is intended to assist Doctoral students who can demonstrate that they are suffering financial hardship or unforeseen changes in their financial circumstances.Value:
A one off payment towards course fees of up to $ 7,000 will be awarded as funds permit.
Eligibility:
The bursary Free Scholarship Applications is open to all doctoral students who are part-time or full-time students of Massey University and studying at any of the Massey University campuses.
Criteria:
Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate financial hardship and have not been a recipient of a Massey University Doctoral or Vice Chancellor Doctoral Scholarship, and who have a record of successful progression in their doctoral study. Priority may be given to those in their final year of study.Free Scholarship Applications Applications must be supported by a supervisor, Head of Academic unit, or other academic mentor who is familiar with the applicant’s circumstances and academic performance. In recommending the award of a Bursary the University Scholarships Committee will take account of other scholarships and bursaries held by the applicant with a view to achieving a reasonable distribution of monies among qualifying candidates.
Responsibility:
The bursary shall be awarded by a Selection Committee.
Condition:
The Scholarships Committee may refrain from recommending an award at anytime.
Payment:
The emolument will be paid in one instalment.
